Even in a ball mill with lead grinding elements, I would not grind the mixed ingredients. You have a large amount of powder, in a confined space, in a glass container (hmmm, shrapnel!). It's a disaster waiting to happen. Why take the risk, when it's just as simple to grind and ballmill the ingredients separately before mixing?

WhatsApp: +86 18203695377December 28, 2022 by Pao. The simple answer to this question is yes, granulated black powder burns faster than other types of black powder. This is because granulated black powder is more finely ground, and thus has a larger surface area exposed to oxygen. This means that the powder ignites more easily, and burns more quickly.

WhatsApp: +86 18203695377I woke up, not hearing the explosion, standing on my feet. I was 18 miles away. Safety makes a lot of sense. The dome perfectly fits onto my ball mill (there's room above the mill) and I can barely push my fingers under it.
